Several companies have now fielded LED projectors, although they may not be available in the market as I write this. That's one area for growth cited in the article.

Luxeon sure got our attention with the price drops at the end of last year.

As far as headlights and backlights in panel displays, we're still at the beginning of the curve there. Hella has an LED headlight product, but it's only in concept cars right now as far as I know.
