I realize that while this doesn't involve leds  that this stuff is interesting for some here and I welcome the chance to show some of my projects. This is the base for the solar tracking system I'm trying to get working before the snow flies (It's going to be close) the controler is a board I picked up from red rock

http://www.redrok.com/main.htm

And the rest is an old 8' dish mechanizm. I've pulled the old motor and installed a window regulator from a car. this gives me more gear reduction and a smaller draw that the controler can handle. The cool part about the controler is the "park" feature where the dish swings back to the east after the sun goes down. It also lights up a red LED (gotta get that in heh heh heh) to show that it is parking.

I've changed the "eye" housing to a kraft peanut butter jar so the controller has a 360 degree of sight.

I just have to mount the frame to hold the panels and we're off to the races with more power Grin[/img]
