Ok is it ok to take my pos and neg power wires and connect them to the first led, and then with little jumper wire's jump fron neg to neg to neg on down the line. Or should I strip a single wire and connect it at the right place for each led?

I will have a 12 led array, a 4 led array, and a 8 led array. fed by a 5v pwr source within the xbox. I have a 100ohm 1/4w R on each neg leg of each LED. Oh. and what size wire to you think is good? I was going to caniblize some bell wire or I even have some network cable here also. I have some 32 guage wire. It's called wraping wire. But it looks a tad small. Led's are green 3.3v 20Ma Leds

Even the 32AWG stuff would be fine since the currents are so small. I like to use salvaged phone wire though.

I think the problem that needs solving is getting a good mechanical connection. So any given diode in the array will have two connections to each of its leads. Make both connections mechanically sound (wrap your hookup wire around would be one way), then apply solder.
