Ir light for deer cam.

I used the LED series/parallel array wizard and built an 72 led array for my deer cam. This wizard made it so easy. If you have it for down load or away I could get it that would be nice.
To see pictures of light go here

You can see pictures of light and video of light in use.

Troy... That project turned out great! 72 leds... that must have taken some patience to solder together, can you share some pictures of the array itself?
Also, what are you using as the camera?

I will take some shots next time I bring it in. I will only be able to take some shots of the front, dont want to disassebble it. I have 1000 more of these leds that I am going to build some lights for my web cam. It will have a 24/7 feed to the inter net of my feed hole.

72 Leds on 12v battery that puts about around 13v 1.5v drop 100 ma per led. I like it, getting ready to build a 144 led array to put on cam.

Hi,
I'm new here. I am interested in replacing the IR array on my digital trail cam such that the diodes are emitting in the 940 nanometer range rather than down toward visible light. Can I assume that I can build an array like yours and just use 940 nm diodes?
thanks,
Dave

That's more or less the idea--you have
some differences between IR and visible light LEDs
to account for, but if you have good specs, and use the
LED array wizard
, you'll be fine.

Cool. Thanks.
I need a bit more help, though. I see Troy used a solderless breadboard, correct? What were the specs entered into the wizard?

The easy way out for this is to use a kit, like these from bgmicro:
http://www.bgmicro.com/prodinfo.asp?prodid=LED1007
http://www.bgmicro.com/prodinfo.asp?prodid=LED1069
Otherwise, you would want to get the specs from your LED supplier. You'll expect about 1.5V forward voltage, and 50-100 mA forward current.
