LED torch light..here it is

here is my latest torch light series and considered the
most complicated ever made....I finish it just now.Gladly
share to all you guys. All the parts are made using recycled
material and some cheap parts to make it affordable.

electrical component
1) 15 white LEDs
2) some wires
3) 500ohms variable resistor
4) off/on switch
5) battery casing pack for 4
5) 4 pieces of AA batteries
6) printed circuit board (cut to small pieces)
7) some connectors for the LEDs and wiring

assembly parts
1) 3 recycle light bulbs reflector
2) 1 straight PVC pipe diameter=28mm wall thickness=2mm
3) 2 elbow PVC joints
4) 1 piece of wood block
5) 1 electrical casing

joining materials
1)glue
2)3 screws for joining wood to the casing

the rest was amazing...it can light up the whole room
with a strength of a florecent light and a very energy
saving. The reason for me to use a resistor is to control
the flow of current to the LEDs,Im now currently using 4
acid baterries but will change to alkaline in the future.
the current rate for alkaline is greater. As the result
it may burnt the LEDs as well.better be safe right?
here are some pictures on my torch light.comments are
welcome.My email is im_cute@tm.net.my

many thanks

Fantastic! I love the use of recycled materials. Thanks for sharing the photos and good job on finishing it.

(Got any pics of it turned on?)
