Any suggestions for replacing the non-replaceable bulbs in my Chevy Impala temp control panel? I have some small blue LEDs from the dollar store trinkets to replace the (6) parallel T-1 incandescent bulbs. I really don't want to put a ~2 watt resistor inside the assembly. The only place I see to break the input from the dash lights is the interconnecting wires between the main micro board and the front panel- not much room. I didn't look too far but do the make a constant current regulator that has a dimable input?
My heat stopped on the drivers side only and I removed the control center to check it and found (4) of the (6) bulbs burnt out. Turns out there is a damper motor that goes out of calibration- basically gets stuck- and stops when it travels out of range. I ended up reaching up and rapping the motor and putting the control to hot than cold repeated and it started working. Thanks in advance for your help.
