I have had a rash of bad dell motherboards at work and we have been buying referbished motherboards from Dell for $235 each and tossing the old boards. I found
www.capacitorlab.com that had some good info on how to recap the boards myself and
www.thecapking.com to buy premade kits and loose caps with no minimum order which is great because every other place online didn't have time for a small timer like me. I have sucessfully recapped 40 boards with only 1 that didn't work after the recap. I think that one has a bad heat sensor that I don't think I can replace. Anyone else out there doing the same or have a suggestion on the heat sensor? Its a Dell optiplex SX-280.
Thanks
