Mood lighting for an EON deck. 5X3 5mm white LED's off a 12v electric outdoor timer switch which powers the 9 12v deck lights. From there it gets converted from AC to DC with a full bridge rectifier into a LM317 current regulator with a 68 ohm resistor. With the LM317 in there, the voltage drops to about 10 volts. I'm new to the LED scene, but what I thought was a little strange was the 12v power source. It says that it is 12 DC, but when I tested it with a VOM, it was 12v AC, wierd. The bulbs for the deck lights are 12v auto lights, like a dome light or a tail light. Anyway, we like the way it looks at night. Added the hand drawn wiring diagram, sorry, not an artist or a drafter.
