I am new to the led world & am trying to connect 9 led's for a small flashlight. I am having trouble with the resistor placement. I have sen a few resistor calculators that have give you a wiring diagram. One says to put the resistor on the - negative side on the led & the other says on the + positive side. Which side is the proper side to put the resistor on? THANKS

You can even put it in the middle of LED string - it shouldn't matter.
