 oh yeah chug-a-lug The alcohol soak was fruitless. I totalled out the the tube,but saved the endcap switch,lens,&led board. Bad ground from board to old tube,as I suspected. The surface mount resistor shows .4 ohms. I got some brass 1" ID x .062" seamless tube laying around. Net search of disassy. fruitless. I'll just cut the threads off the end cap & make it fit . I'll have to make another nosecap,though. All put together w/4-40 screws spaced 120 degrees apart. Gonna be busy weekend. Recieved 6 130lm neutral white rebels yesterday oh yeah chug-a-lug That's another subject altogether.
