One of my laptops I used to use alot has been going through some wear and tear. The factory color plastic has been dissolving where my hands rest to the base color which is black.

I decided to dye my laptop to black. Do I need to sand the plastic or can I apply it directly on

heres a pic of my laptop's model

No sanding needed, that's the beauty of vinyl dye. And Welcome to the boards.

some guys say that only krylon will work on laptop plastic ... and others say i need to sand it down. I liked what I was looking at your site though... and am thinking of taking the plunge and trying it
